Description

The PMC10-4 is the flagship active main monitor from PMC, engineered to meet the demands of the world’s most critical control rooms. Purpose-built from the ground up, this monitor brings unmatched power, clarity, and precision to high-end recording, mixing, and mastering environments, especially those requiring extreme SPL and low-end authority.

At the heart of the PMC10-4 are four 10-inch ultra-long-throw low-frequency drivers, delivering massive bass extension through PMC’s Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) design, enhanced by LaminairX™ venting for fast, controlled airflow. This enables the speaker to produce immense, tonally accurate low end with precision and speed, even at very high volumes. Coupled with a 34mm soft-dome tweeter and the PMC75v3 midrange driver, both integrated into the n-compass™ waveguide, the PMC10-4 achieves superior imaging, phase coherence, and wide listening dispersion which is all a key to critical decision-making in a studio setting.

Powering each speaker is a PMC Master36 DSP/Amplifier unit and a Power20 amplifier, delivering a total of 5600W per channel (HF: 800W, MF: 800W, LF: 4 x 1000W). This massive headroom supports the speaker’s forensic accuracy and dynamic handling, while SoundAlign2 provides full DSP room alignment EQ without compromising signal integrity. With both analog and digital inputs (up to 192kHz) and PMC’s proprietary masterlink connection, the system is designed for full-range flexibility and performance monitoring at the highest level.
