The Merging Technologies PT64V3 I/O Expansion Card is a powerful new addition to the Hapi Mk III interface, designed to seamlessly connect Pro Tools HDX systems to RAVENNA/AES67 or Dante audio networks. Tailored for professionals in music recording and post-production, this card extends the functionality of Merging and Neumann solutions, giving users access to pristine audio quality, advanced monitoring options, and low-latency performance. Whether used with Merging Technologies’ Anubis or Neumann MT 48, the PT64V3 brings flexible, high-end audio integration into Pro Tools environments.

This expansion card is more than just a connector, it’s a strategic enabler for building versatile systems. Users can combine it with other Merging components to create scalable alternatives to traditional interfaces like Avid MTRX Studio or MTRX II. It supports up to 64 channels at 48 kHz (and fewer at higher resolutions) per card, with up to two PT64V3 cards installable in a single Hapi Mk III for larger channel counts. For advanced configurations, it can even work alongside the MADI128V3 card, allowing up to 210 network inputs in RAVENNA/AES67 mode. Additionally, the card offers emulation of HD I/O, HD MADI, and 192 I/O latency, ensuring accurate delay compensation in Pro Tools workflows.
