Description

The Franklin Audio RA-20 Stereo Studio Re-Amplifier is a compact, fully passive device designed to connect your digital recordings with the character and depth of guitar amps and pedals. It converts balanced, line-level signals from your audio interface into instrument-level outputs, allowing you to send tracks from your DAW back through amplifiers or effects with ease. Its transformer-balanced design requires no external power, keeping your setup simple and reliable in both studio and home environments.

With two independent channels and four selectable routing modes, the RA-20 offers a wide range of creative possibilities. You can run dual mono re-amp chains, split a mono source to two different destinations, or maintain a true stereo signal path through stereo pedals. Each channel includes passive level trim and variable impedance controls, giving you hands-on control over how your signal interacts with amps and high-impedance gear. Ground lift and polarity switches help reduce hum and resolve phase issues, supporting clean and focused recordings.

From re-amping a dry DI guitar to processing drum loops, synths, or even full mixes through pedal chains, the RA-20 makes it easy to explore new textures using the equipment you already own. Its desktop-friendly format and intuitive layout encourage experimentation while keeping your workflow efficient and straightforward.
