Description

The Schoeps RC Set Singer is a complete stand set for a singer or speaker. It combines a cardioid MK 4 capsule, a CMC 1 L microphone amplifier with a Lemo output and a 5 m K 5 LU cable to XLR-3M, an RC 1200 active extension tube, an STR 350 support rod, a BF 250 floor stand and a B 5 D foam pop screen. All parts are in the matte gray finish.

Schoeps describes the set as customized for use as a spot or soloist microphone and says it is generally referred to as the "Pavarotti stand" and is a general standard in concert halls. The setup is elegant, and the look is appreciated by the public and the producers. Changing the length of the RC or STR makes other applications possible.

The MK 4 is a classic cardioid whose directivity is highly independent of frequency, and it is often preferred by opera singers and other trained vocalists. The B 5 D hollow foam pop screen is used in close-up speech and also protects against mild wind or moving noise. The CMC 1 L is compatible with all available MK capsules and active Colette accessories such as the RC tubes.

The active tube carries the capsule on a head that tilts between 0° and 120°, and an RG 8 swivel joint comes with it.

Heavy BF 250 Floor Stand
