Description

The SCHOEPS RC Set "Singer" with CMC 6 is a complete Plug&Play set for miking a singer or speaker as a spot or soloist microphone. It is the setup known worldwide as the "Pavarotti stand" and is the standard on concert stages.

The set pairs the cardioid MK 4 capsule with the CMC 6 amplifier on an RC 1200 active tube with swivel, held by an STR 350 support rod on a BF 250 floor stand, with a B 5 D foam pop screen on the capsule. The MK 4 is often preferred by opera singers and other trained vocalists.

Changing the length of the RC and/or the STR enables other applications.

Capsule, amplifier, active tube, support rod, floor stand and pop screen come together as one set for a singer or speaker.

Cardioid MK 4 Capsule
The MK 4 has a transparent sound character and excellent attenuation of rear-incident sound. It is often preferred by opera singers and other trained vocalists.

Swivel Head
The RC tube has a swivel at its head end that tilts the capsule between 0° and 120°.

Unobtrusive Placement
The slim active tube places the microphone without affecting the view, which suits concert stages.

RFI Shield
The CMC 6 amplifier has excellent protection against high-frequency radio interference thanks to the RFI Shield.

Phantom Power Flexibility
The CMC 6 works with 12V and 48V phantom power and has a balanced, low-impedance output.

Stable Floor Stand
The BF 250 is a heavy base with a quick-release collet that holds the STR rod reliably and stably.

Foam Pop Screen
The hollow B 5 D foam screen is used for close-up speech and keeps the foam from touching the microphone.

Adjustable Lengths
Varying the length of the RC and/or STR enables other applications.
