Description

The Schoeps RC Set Violin is a complete stand set for a spot microphone over an instrument. It combines a cardioid MK 4 capsule, a CMC 1 U microphone amplifier with XLR-3M output, an RC 700 active extension tube, an STR 1000 support rod and a BF 250 floor stand, all in matte gray.

Schoeps describes the set as optimally adapted to use as a spot microphone for an instrument that is recorded from above, and as world-renowned in this application and a common standard on concert stages. The setup is elegant, and the look is appreciated by the public and the producers.

The MK 4 is a cardioid capsule with directivity that is highly independent of frequency, preferred for spot miking and acoustic instruments. The CMC 1 U is compatible with all capsules and active accessories of the Colette system, and varying the length of the RC or the STR opens up numerous other applications.
