Description

The ATC SCM105AC Pro is a premium three-way active mid-field centre channel monitor, crafted for demanding professional audio environments where precise dialogue reproduction and wide-bandwidth monitoring are essential. Designed with a low-profile, symmetrical layout, it easily integrates into crowded control rooms while maintaining balanced stereo imaging and tonal consistency across channels. It’s the ideal centre speaker match for ATC’s SCM50A, SCM100A, and SCM110A Pro loudspeakers, and it can also be paired with the larger SCM150A Pro, with SPL headroom considerations in mind.

This model features dual 9” SL bass drivers, a 3” soft-dome midrange, and a 1” soft-dome tweeter, delivering articulate low-end, accurate midrange, and smooth high-frequency response. Unlike its in-wall sibling (SCM105AiWC Pro), the SCM105AC Pro houses its electronics internally, employing ATC’s proprietary Amp-Pack with precision active crossovers and discrete Class A/B MOSFET amplifiers. With up to 200W for bass, 100W for midrange, and 50W for high frequencies, the speaker delivers both 115 dB continuous and 121 dB peak SPL (per pair), ensuring excellent headroom for dynamic mixes.

Additional highlights include front-panel limiter indication, input sensitivity and bass boost controls, and a balanced XLR input for professional integration. The unit weighs 66.5 kg (146.6 lbs) and features rear-facing heatsinks for convection cooling, as shown in the technical illustrations on page 2, which also detail physical dimensions for easy placement planning.
