Description
Description
The Schoeps SR 1450 C BOC is an active extension tube with a gooseneck, combined in one continuous piece. A 1200 mm extension tube and a 250 mm gooseneck make up its total length of 1450 mm.
Active extension tubes are placed between the capsule and microphone amplifier. This lets the microphones sit unobtrusively in the orchestra without interfering with sight lines. The gooseneck at the head end allows the capsule to be aimed as desired, and the other end has a threaded receptacle for the microphone amplifier.
