Description

The Sennheiser SR 2050 IEM-AW+ is a high-performance rackmount twin stereo transmitter tailored for in-ear monitoring in demanding live production, touring, broadcast, and theater environments. Operating in the AW+ frequency range (470–558 MHz), this system offers up to 3,000 tunable frequencies across a 75 MHz switching bandwidth, with 20 fixed and 6 user-programmable banks, supporting up to 32 channels per bank. This flexibility makes it ideal for dense RF environments where frequency coordination is critical.

Housed in a rugged 19" all-metal chassis, the SR 2050 IEM-AW+ features a user-friendly dual-color backlit display, infrared syncing, and network compatibility via RJ-45 Ethernet for integration with Sennheiser’s Wireless System Manager (WSM) software. The unit provides switchable RF output power (10, 30, 50 mW) for adaptable signal strength (note: the XP variant is required for 100 mW max output). Audio performance is impressive, with <0.9% total harmonic distortion, a signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB(A), and a 25 to 15,000 Hz audio frequency response which is optimized for clarity and dynamic range in stage monitoring.
