Description

The Schoeps Stereo Set 1L21 pairs two CMC 1 L miniature amplifiers with two MK 21 wide cardioid capsules. Schoeps supplies such sets as two complete microphones with selected, matched capsules, ready for stereo work.

The directivity of the wide cardioid lies between the omni and the cardioid. Schoeps describes the MK 21 as combining the warm sound of the omni with the directivity of the cardioid, and it is popular as a main microphone pair or as a soloist microphone.

The CMC 1 L is the Lemo-output version of the CMC 1, about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6. It runs on 48 V or 12 V phantom power and carries the SCHOEPS RFI Shield.

Phantom Power and RFI Shield
The amplifier works on 48 V or 12 V phantom power and has very high immunity from RF interference with the SCHOEPS RFI Shield.
