Description

The Schoeps Stereo Set 1L22 pairs two CMC 1 L miniature amplifiers with two MK 22 open cardioid capsules. Schoeps supplies such sets as two complete microphones with selected, matched capsules, ready for stereo work.

The Open Cardioid pattern lies between the classic cardioid and the wide cardioid, with a fair amount of directivity and very natural sound quality. The MK 22 is a preferred soloist and spot microphone and an alternative to the MK 4, and it is also used as a main pair at a spacing of 21 cm and an angle of +/- 55°.

The CMC 1 L is the Lemo-output version of the CMC 1, about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6. It runs on 48 V or 12 V phantom power and carries the SCHOEPS RFI Shield.
