Description

The Schoeps Stereo Set 1L2H is a stereo pair of modular Colette microphones. Each of the two complete microphones combines a miniature CMC 1 L amplifier with an MK 2H capsule, and the capsules are selected and matched. The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 with a miniature Lemo output connector.

The MK 2H is an omnidirectional pressure transducer. Its sound inlet is narrower than that of other Schoeps pressure transducers, which causes a slight, purely acoustic response elevation above 6 kHz. Schoeps recommends it for natural-sounding pickup of instruments and orchestras in spaces with well-balanced reverberance.

The CMC 1 amplifier is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6. It operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power and has very high immunity from RF interference with the SCHOEPS RFI Shield.

Mild High-Frequency Elevation
The MK 2H has a mild high-frequency response elevation at 0°, which compensates high frequency losses caused by a slightly increased diffuse field amount at medium recording distance.

Miniature Lemo Amplifiers
The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 with a miniature Lemo output connector, and it is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6.

RF Interference Protection
The CMC 1 has very high immunity from RF interference with the SCHOEPS RFI Shield, and it operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power.
