Description

The Schoeps Stereo Set 1L4V is a stereo pair of modular Colette microphones. Each of the two complete microphones combines a miniature CMC 1 L amplifier with an MK 4V capsule, and the capsules are selected and matched. The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 with a miniature Lemo output connector.

The MK 4V was created in answer to requests for a cardioid with its main axis along the side. Its directional response is especially well maintained even at higher frequencies, and it still sounds somewhat brighter than the MK 4.

The CMC 1 amplifier is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6. It operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power and has very high immunity from RF interference with the SCHOEPS RFI Shield.

Preferred applications are as a spot microphone in orchestra and in a double MS setup.

Miniature Lemo Amplifiers
The CMC 1 L is the variant of the CMC 1 with a miniature Lemo output connector, and it is about one-third the length and 53% lighter than the CMC 6.

RF Interference Protection
The CMC 1 has very high immunity from RF interference with the SCHOEPS RFI Shield, and it operates on 48 V or 12 V phantom power.
