The TASCAM AE-4D is a professional-grade, compact audio interface that bridges AES/EBU digital audio with Dante network audio, tailored for integration into complex audio systems in broadcast, live sound, and installed sound environments. It features four AES/EBU inputs and outputs with built-in sample rate conversion, enabling seamless incorporation of legacy or high-quality digital audio sources into modern Dante networks. With support for up to 24-bit/96kHz audio and compatibility with Power over Ethernet (PoE), the AE-4D simplifies installation while maintaining top-tier performance and reliability.

Its compact, half-rack design makes it ideal for tight spaces, while the built-in DSP mixer provides flexible routing and basic audio processing, perfect for small-scale systems or zone-based installations. Two user control software options-TASCAM DCP CONNECT and EZ CONNECT-allow for detailed configuration or simple operation depending on the user's needs. The AE-4D is easily mountable under desks or in racks using optional accessories, and with visual signal and connection indicators, it's a user-friendly yet powerful addition to any professional audio system.
