The Audix TM2-ADX is a professional integrated ear simulator, also known as an acoustic coupler, designed specifically for testing and measuring in-ear monitors (IEMs). Compact, durable, and easy to deploy, it brings measurement capabilities traditionally found in laboratory environments into a practical solution for live sound engineers, monitor technicians, audio manufacturers, and quality control applications. By providing a consistent and repeatable testing platform, the TM2-ADX helps verify IEM performance, troubleshoot issues, and confirm proper operation before critical performances or broadcasts.
Using patent-pending technology, the TM2-ADX simulates the acoustic characteristics of the human ear, allowing users to accurately evaluate the frequency response and overall performance of virtually any in-ear monitor. The unit connects through a standard XLR output and operates on phantom power, making integration with audio interfaces and professional measurement software straightforward. It is compatible with widely used analysis platforms such as SMAART, Systune, and AudioTools, enabling engineers to quickly perform reliable measurements in both studio and live production environments.
Designed for flexibility and convenience, the TM2-ADX includes multiple FLXFIT adapters to accommodate a wide range of IEM nozzle sizes, along with a protective carrying case for transport and storage.
