AMS Neve is set to release three new professional audio products this April: the 1073DPX-D, 88R LBEQ, and StarNet ADA24. Each unit is tailored for different production needs, ranging from analogue tone shaping to digital conversion, while preserving Neve’s signature design philosophy and build quality.

1073DPX-D: Classic Neve Preamp Meets Integrated USB/ADAT Interface

The 1073DPX-D expands on the popular 1073DPX, combining two full 1073® channel strips with a 10-in/12-out USB and ADAT interface. This hybrid solution merges analogue warmth with modern DAW integration, making it a complete recording and processing hub.

Each channel features Neve’s classic class-A signal path, transformer-coupled mic, line, and DI inputs, inductor EQ, and high-pass filtering. AD/DA conversion supports up to 192 kHz sample rates, while USB and ADAT connectivity allow flexible routing for tracking, inserts, and monitoring. The unit includes front and rear inputs, dedicated output faders, pre/post insert loops, and switchable phantom power and impedance.

With no drivers required for macOS or Windows, the 1073DPX-D is ready to use out of the box. Its monitoring section offers latency-free cue mixes, blend control, and a high-power headphone amp. It’s designed to be the centrepiece of a modern hybrid setup, ideal for small studios, mobile rigs, or expanding an existing system.

88R LBEQ: 88RS EQ in a Compact 500-Series Format

The 88R LBEQ captures the precision of the 88RS console’s four-band EQ in a single-slot 500-series module. Each band features ±20 dB gain, continuously variable frequency and Q, and selectable bell or shelving curves. Both high and low bands include a resonant shelving option for more focused tone shaping.

The frequency range spans from 33 Hz to 18 kHz, with the low-mid and high-mid bands covering 120 Hz to 2 kHz and 800 Hz to 9 kHz, respectively. A true-bypass switch enables instant A/B comparisons, making it ideal for detailed mix decisions. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Neve’s 500-series preamps and compressors, the 88R LBEQ brings high-end console behaviour into portable or modular environments.

With a headroom of +27.2 dBu, dynamic range over 107 dB, and ultra-low distortion, it delivers consistent performance for mixing, mastering, or tracking sessions where accurate EQ is essential.

StarNet ADA24: Dante™ AD/DA Converter with 24 Channels of Analogue I/O

The StarNet ADA24 is designed for studios that need high-quality analogue-to-Dante™ conversion across multiple channels. Offering 24 balanced inputs and 24 outputs via DB25 connectors, the unit delivers mastering-grade conversion at up to 32-bit and 192 kHz.

It features selectable headroom levels of +18, +24, or +26 dBu, allowing precise alignment with analogue and digital systems. The output stages are based on Neve’s 88RS console design, offering wide bandwidth, high common-mode rejection, and low noise, well-suited for patchbays, large-format consoles, or remote racks.

Dual Dante ports support network redundancy or daisy-chaining, and a front-panel OLED provides system status and full I/O metering. Engineers can manage output attenuation and muting remotely via the ADA24 Remote App. With a precision clock, low-jitter design, and word clock I/O, the unit is also capable of serving as a master clock in complex setups.

Built for reliability, the ADA24 features an external universal power supply and fan-assisted cooling, ensuring stable operation in demanding environments.
