The WesAudio ngSumBox is designed for modern hybrid studios seeking the sound of analog summing with the convenience of digital workflow. Built as an 18×2 analog summing unit, it delivers analog depth and stereo imaging with full digital recall and plugin-based control, streamlining integration into DAW-centric environments.

This unit provides 16 fully controllable summing channels with individual level automation and variable THD per channel. Each channel includes LCR routing and can be configured with direct outputs (pre or post fader), enhancing flexibility in routing and processing. Two additional inputs allow integration of effects returns or stems, making the ngSumBox adaptable for various mixing setups.
Its metering system includes LED indicators for all inputs and dual VU meters for the stereo output, ensuring clear visibility during complex sessions. The device also includes a proprietary WIDTH control for stereo image management and dual insert points with full recall, enabling hardware processing directly on the summing bus.

Selectable output stages, electronically balanced or transformer balanced, give users tonal flexibility depending on the desired character of the mix. The unit supports HUI and Mackie Control protocols, making it compatible with popular control surfaces for a console-like experience.
Control is handled through dedicated plugins, giving full access to parameters from within your DAW, including automation and session recall. This bridges analog summing with the speed and precision of digital workflows.
WesAudio will be exhibiting at NAMM 2026, booth 16119.
