Drawing directly from the revered circuitry of both the B and E Series consoles, it captures the very DNA that shaped countless iconic records from artists like Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, U2, Prince, and Metallica. From the Townhouse Studios' rare 4000 B console to the globally influential 4000 E, SSL's 4000 Series defined an era of music production. The Revival 4000 carries this heritage forward, delivering the warmth, punch, and flexibility of those consoles in a streamlined and powerful 1U design.

Inside the Revival 4000 are the most beloved circuits of SSL's history: a Jensen-equipped E Series mic preamp for pristine front-end capture, the musical B Series De-Esser, and the legendary E Series Class A VCA dynamics section for compression, gating, and expansion with vintage character. Add to this the iconic four-band SSL EQ, switchable between the Brown Knob ‘02' and Black Knob ‘242' variants, complete with high- and low-pass filters, and you have an unparalleled tone-shaping toolkit.
