Description

The RØDE WS8 Deluxe Windshield is a high-performance wind protection solution designed for the NT5, NT55, and NT6 small-diaphragm condenser microphones. It also fits other microphones with a 20mm diameter and 27mm capsule depth. Ideal for outdoor and location recording, the WS8 helps reduce wind noise in adverse environments while preserving the clarity and accuracy of your audio.

Constructed with an open-cell foam interior and a layer of acoustically transparent artificial fur, the WS8 provides excellent noise suppression. A rubber base seals the back of the mic capsule, preventing wind from entering behind the microphone which enhances its effectiveness. Lightweight at just 18g and measuring 100mm in all dimensions, it's a simple yet powerful tool for improving audio quality in challenging conditions.
