The Radius Mini-ALTO 280 Blimp Windshield ADD-ON Kit (Black, Multi-Pile) is a lightweight, full-coverage wind protection solution designed for professionals who already use a RAD-2 or RAD-3 shockmount. Built for fast-paced field recording, this add-on kit includes the Mini-ALTO 280 magnetic blimp windshield and a removable black multi-pile fur cover, delivering up to -40 dB wind noise reduction in a compact and portable form factor.

With an extended internal length to accommodate longer shotgun microphones—such as the Sennheiser MKH 416, Rode NTG-3, and Schoeps CMIT5U—the Mini-ALTO 280 maintains a slim 85mm diameter for easy handling. The kit also includes a “smiley face” RAD adapter, a magnetic stowage holder with carabiner clip, and two cable straps.
