Description

The BAE 1032 19" Pair with Power Supply combines two 1032 4-band mic/line preamps in a convenient rackmount configuration. Inspired by the classic 1081’s EQ frequencies, the 1032 pairs a flexible four-band equalizer with the Class A, transformer-coupled preamp design associated with the 1073. Each channel is hand wired and uses discrete components and modular cards, supporting dependable performance and long-term serviceability.

Its EQ section provides broad control for shaping and correcting a wide range of sources. Overlapping low-mid and high-mid frequency selections make it easier to target problem areas, while the expanded high-frequency shelving extends up to 24 kHz for detailed high-end adjustment without sacrificing midrange control. A passive inductor high-pass filter adds further flexibility for managing unwanted low frequencies.

High-quality Swiss-made Elma® rotary switches complement the robust construction and precise controls. Supplied as a pair in a 19-inch rackmount format with a power supply, this version offers two channels of BAE’s 1081-inspired EQ flexibility combined with Class A transformer-coupled amplification.
