Description

The Rupert Neve Designs 551 Inductor EQ Plug-In brings the character of the company’s acclaimed 500 Series equalizer into a software format for modern recording and mixing workflows. The original 551 holds a distinctive place in the Rupert Neve Designs lineup as the only 500 Series equalizer designed by Mr. Rupert Neve himself, with circuitry developed from the well-known Shelford Channel.

Its three-band EQ design draws inspiration from some of Mr. Neve’s most prized vintage equalizer designs, giving engineers and producers a musical way to shape individual tracks, buses, and other sources inside the DAW. Developed in collaboration with McDSP, the plug-in is designed as a faithful recreation of the hardware while taking advantage of the flexibility available in software.

The 551 Inductor EQ Plug-In supports AAX, AU, and VST3 formats and is compatible with a wide range of major DAWs, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo, FL Studio, Ableton Live, LUNA, Reaper, Sonar, and Studio One. It runs natively on both Intel and Apple silicon processors and uses iLok-based authorization, with two activations included per license.
