The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro Mini is a compact, low profile PCIe capture and playback card designed for professional cinema, post production, visual effects, and broadcast environments. Built around four independent 12G-SDI Micro BNC connections, it supports everything from standard definition video through Ultra HD, 4K DCI, and full 8K DCI workflows, making it an ideal solution for facilities that need maximum flexibility in a small form factor.

For cinema capture and playback, the DeckLink 8K Pro Mini delivers exceptional image fidelity with support for 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 video, high frame rates, HDR workflows, and Rec. 2020 color space. It can handle uncompressed video as well as industry-standard formats such as Apple ProRes, DNxHD, DNxHR, DPX, AVC-Intra, and XDCAM, allowing seamless integration into modern digital cinema pipelines. The card also supports stereoscopic 3D capture and playback, making it suitable for advanced visual effects and immersive content creation.

Designed for demanding production environments, the card features quad-link 12G-SDI operation, embedded multi-channel audio, reference input for frame-accurate synchronization, and compatibility with Mac, Windows, and Linux workstations.
