The DMK1 Drum Microphone Kit by Austrian Audio is a comprehensive, high-quality microphone set tailored specifically for full drum kit capture in studio and live environments. Designed and assembled in Vienna, the DMK1 combines precision engineering with practical versatility. It includes eight purpose-specific microphones and a complete set of mounting accessories, all housed in a durable, waterproof touring case for secure transport and easy setup.

The selection of microphones is thoughtfully curated to provide clarity, depth, and tonal balance across the entire drum kit. The OC-B6 captures low-end detail from the kick drum with high SPL handling and flexible positioning. Two OC18 large-diaphragm condensers deliver open, natural overhead imaging. The CC8 is focused on the crisp articulation of hi-hats, while three OC7 condensers are tuned for toms with a punchy and dynamic response. The OD5 dynamic mic brings definition and control to the snare. Each microphone is handcrafted with Austrian Audio’s signature capsules, offering a clean, mix-ready sound across all sources. The kit also includes multiple mic clips, windscreens, and drum mounts, making it a complete solution for any drum recording or live sound application.
