This matched pair of ECC83/12AX7 dual-triode vacuum tubes is designed for musicians, audio engineers, and hi-fi enthusiasts using compatible input and inter-stage amplification equipment. High-gain, low-noise performance supports guitar amplifiers, effects, compressors, microphones, and other tube audio devices.

Balanced triodes promote consistent response within each tube, while pair matching supports uniform performance across both tubes. Cryogenic treatment, extensive burn-in, and testing for gain, transconductance, noise, and microphonics provide added stability, with defined lows, a rich midrange, smooth highs, and clean headroom before overdrive.
