Description

The PMC10 XBD is a high-performance, dual-cabinet active monitoring system tailored for large-format music, film, and immersive audio environments where precision and scalability are essential. Building on the core PMC10 platform, this expanded system pairs a standard three-way PMC10 loudspeaker with an additional matching cabinet dedicated solely to low-frequency reproduction. This configuration significantly increases low-end headroom and overall system impact, making it an ideal choice for critical applications such as film and TV post-production, mastering, and streaming content creation.

Inside the primary cabinet, a 34mm hand-built soft-dome tweeter and PMC’s latest 75mm midrange driver with a-void™ damping and n-compass™ waveguide ensure outstanding clarity and soundstage control. Meanwhile, dual 10-inch in-house-designed bass drivers-one in each cabinet-operate in tandem to deliver deep, articulate low-end performance via the latest ATL™ transmission line design and LaminairX™ venting. Powered by PMC’s master36 DSP/amplifier unit, the system delivers a total of 3.6kW with dedicated DSP control, precision digital crossovers, and SoundAlign2 browser-based configuration. With support for both stereo and immersive setups, and flexible placement options (vertical, horizontal, or soffit-mounted), the PMC10 XBD is a sophisticated monitoring solution built for modern production demands.
