Description

The Franklin Audio RA-100 is a versatile studio tool designed to bridge the gap between your recording setup and your favorite instrument gear. Combining a passive re-amp circuit with an active return preamp, it allows you to send audio from your DAW or interface through guitar pedals, amplifiers, and other instrument effects, then capture the processed signal back into your session with clarity and control. Its transformer balanced input and output help deliver a full, harmonically rich sound while maintaining generous headroom and low noise.

In practical use, the RA-100 makes it easy to experiment creatively. You can run drums, synths, or vocals through pedal chains for unique textures, re-amp previously recorded guitar or bass tracks through different amplifiers, or plug an electric instrument straight into the unit and record directly to a line input without needing a separate DI box or mic preamp. Variable impedance and dedicated level controls give you precise command over gain staging, helping pedals respond naturally and sit comfortably in a studio environment.

Thoughtfully laid out controls, including ground lift and polarity options, help solve common studio challenges like hum and phase issues. Built for long term reliability and backed by a ten year limited warranty, the RA-100 is a dependable addition to any recording setup looking to expand its tonal palette.
