Description

The Sennheiser SR 2050XP IEM-AW+ is a premium dual-channel stereo transmitter engineered for in-ear monitoring (IEM) in professional touring, broadcast, theater, and live performance settings. Designed with rugged durability and top-tier flexibility in mind, this rack-mountable unit supports a wide AW+ frequency range (470–558 MHz) with up to 75 MHz of switching bandwidth. Users can choose from 3,000 available frequencies, with 20 fixed frequency banks and 6 user-programmable banks, allowing seamless coordination in high-density RF environments. Its XP variant offers up to 100 mW RF output power, providing extended range and reliability even on large or complex stages.

What sets the SR 2050XP apart is its extensive control and monitoring options. It supports infrared syncing with compatible receivers, Ethernet connectivity (RJ-45) for remote configuration via Sennheiser Wireless System Manager (WSM) software, and menu-driven navigation with a two-color backlit LCD display. Audio performance is equally robust with a 25 Hz to 15 kHz frequency response, >90 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and THD under 0.9%. Dual electronically balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs and balanced loop outputs are standard, along with a 5-band EQ for fine-tuning audio delivery.
