The Schoeps TEF-H is a tabletop mounting adapter for table stands. It is made for a diameter of 20 mm, such as the ST 20-3/8 cylinder or a CMC amplifier.
In-table mounting needs the right hardness: too soft and the microphone is not stable, too hard and it picks up table vibrations. The TEF comes in three degrees of hardness, and the TEF-H is the rigid version for heavy table stands with lengths up to 420 mm.
