Description

The Schoeps TEF-M is a tabletop mounting adapter for table stands. It is made for a 20 mm diameter, the size of the ST 20-3/8 cylinder or a CMC amplifier, and it holds the stand elastically in the table.

Installing a table stand elastically in the table is demanding: the suspension must not be too soft, otherwise the microphone is not stable, and not too hard, otherwise the microphone picks up vibrations from the table as broadband interference. The TEF comes in different degrees of hardness to decouple solid-borne noise and keep the microphone stable at the same time. The TEF-M is the version for medium-heavy table stands with lengths <= 350 mm.
