The Austrian Audio CC8-SC is a premium supercardioid true condenser microphone, thoughtfully engineered for professional studio and live sound environments. Hand-built in Vienna, it combines Austrian craftsmanship with modern performance, offering a smooth, natural sound and an impressive ability to handle extreme sound pressure levels, up to 155 dB without distortion. At its core is the meticulously designed OCC7 capsule, inspired by classic designs but tailored for contemporary recording needs. The microphone's supercardioid polar pattern is tightly focused, effectively rejecting off-axis sound and minimizing unwanted ambient noise, making it an ideal choice for capturing solo instruments or voice in complex or noisy settings.

What sets the CC8-SC apart is its balance of clarity, control, and adaptability. The frequency response includes a subtle roll-off in both the highs and lows, taming harsh cymbals and rumbling low-end noise without sacrificing detail.
