Le CEDAR Audio DNS 8S est un processeur professionnel de suppression de bruit de dialogue multicanal conçu spécifiquement pour le son en direct, la diffusion et les environnements de production d'événements où une latence ultra-faible et un fonctionnement fiable sont essentiels. Basé sur la célèbre technologie de suppression de bruit de dialogue de CEDAR, le DNS 8S offre huit canaux de réduction de bruit en temps réel, aidant les ingénieurs à améliorer la clarté et l’intelligibilité de la parole dans des situations exigeantes sans compromettre la qualité naturelle de la voix. Le DNS 8S combine les derniers algorithmes de suppression de bruit de CEDAR avec un système de contrôle intuitif offrant à la fois des modes de fonctionnement simplifiés et détaillés. Conçu pour résoudre des problèmes audio courants tels que le bruit de la circulation, la climatisation, le vent, la pluie, l’ambiance de la foule et les environnements acoustiques défavorables, il permet de délivrer un dialogue plus propre et plus intelligible en temps réel. Le processeur peut également aider à réduire les effets d’une réverbération excessive et d’un placement de microphone moins qu’idéal, ce qui en fait un outil précieux tant pour les productions temporaires que pour les installations permanentes.

Conçu pour une fiabilité professionnelle, le DNS 8S dispose de huit canaux de traitement audio numérique AES3 avec une latence extrêmement faible de moins de 0,2 milliseconde à 48 kHz. Le contrôle à distance via navigateur permet une utilisation depuis des ordinateurs portables, tablettes et autres appareils en réseau sans dépendre de systèmes d’exploitation ou de stations de travail audio numériques spécifiques. Pour les applications critiques, l’appareil intègre un bypass audio AES3 sécurisé par relais matériels, garantissant un flux de signal ininterrompu en cas de coupure de courant ou de perturbation du système.
