The omnidirectional setting provides extended low-frequency response, no proximity effect, and low sensitivity to wind, breath, handling noise, and mechanical vibration. The cardioid setting maintains directionality at very low frequencies, while a slight high-frequency emphasis adds clarity in either mode. The pair is factory matched for frequency response and sensitivity and includes a hand-signed certificate.
