Description

The Soyuz Silver 17 is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone designed to deliver a rich, full-bodied sound with added openness and clarity. Its smooth presence helps vocals feel forward and intimate without becoming harsh, while acoustic instruments retain natural detail, depth, and definition. The result is a polished sound that sits comfortably in a modern mix with less need for heavy processing.

Its custom S17E capsule gives the Silver 17 an airy upper range while preserving the weighty lows and expressive midrange associated with the 017 Series. This balance makes it well suited to vocals, acoustic guitar, strings, keys, drums, percussion, voice-over, and broadcast work, particularly when a source needs both warmth and space.

Each microphone is handcrafted using in-house machining, transformer winding, capsule assembly, and point-to-point wiring. A dedicated power supply is included, providing a complete studio-ready setup for recording applications that call for character, clarity, and a refined tube sound.
