Description

The Schoeps CMC12HG SET pairs the compact CMC 1 U microphone amplifier with the MK 2H omnidirectional capsule for natural-sounding instrument and orchestral recording. Finished in matte gray, the set includes an SG 20 stand clamp, B 5 popscreen, and premium wooden case.

The MK 2H is designed for indoor recording at medium distances, where direct and reflected sound contribute similar amounts of energy. Its slight acoustic response elevation above 6 kHz helps compensate for high-frequency losses in reverberant sound, producing a balanced overall response in this setting. It is well suited to spaces with well-balanced reverberation and use within A/B stereo or Decca Tree arrays.

The miniature CMC 1 amplifier is approximately one-third the size and 40% lighter than the CMC 6, making it useful where microphone size and weight matter. Compatibility with Colette capsules and active accessories allows the system to adapt to different recording applications.

Caractéristiques

Natural Omnidirectional Pickup
Captures instruments and orchestras with a balanced sound in spaces with well-controlled reverberation.

Optimized for Medium Recording Distances
Designed to provide a linear overall response indoors where direct and reflected sound energy are similar.

Acoustic High-Frequency Compensation
A narrow capsule sound inlet creates a mild treble rise that helps compensate for high-frequency losses in diffuse sound.

Suited to Stereo Arrays
Suitable for use within spaced A/B stereo and Decca Tree microphone arrangements.

Compact, Lightweight Amplifier
The miniature CMC 1 reduces microphone size and weight while maintaining the performance expected from the Colette system.

Modular Colette Compatibility
Supports interchangeable Colette capsules and active accessories for a wide range of recording configurations.

Complete Accessory Package
Includes a stand clamp, popscreen, and wooden case for mounting, protection, and storage.
